Links for Autism

Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy will host a benefit golf tournament, Links for Autism, Friday, June 29th, at Renditions in Davidsonville, Md. The event will kick off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and feature goodie bags, breakfast and hotdogs at the turn. A prize will be awarded for the longest drive and a Sea Hunt boat will be up for grabs as the Hole In One Prize. Following the golf tournament, a luncheon will be held featuring a guest speaker and live auction. Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy is a non-profit, customized educational program focused on the individual learner. The school offers a student-centric private school program providing students and parents with an intensive and individualized educational experience. The needs of individual learners are met through individualized and program wide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) guidance and supervision; intensive speech therapy; occupational therapy and sensory integration; small classroom numbers (average class is five students); low student to teacher ratio (averaging 3:1); academic goals created by a team with more than 50 years of collective classroom experience; and a focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).
