Description
The third annual Blue Bay Farms Festival will be held to benefit the Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy at the McArdle Center. The event will be held on the ground of a beautiful colonial era home and will feature colonial era inspired demonstrations, local food and drink, and fun for the whole family. 100% of the profits go to children with autism on the Eastern Shore and beyond. Sweet Bay Magnolia Academy is a non-profit, customized educational program focused on the individual learner. The school offers a student-centric private school program providing students and parents with an intensive and individualized educational experience. The needs of individual learners are met through individualized and program wide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) guidance and supervision; intensive speech therapy; occupational therapy and sensory integration; small classroom numbers (average class is five students); low student to teacher ratio (averaging 3:1); academic goals created by a team with more than 50 years of collective classroom experience; and a focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).
